This policy explains what PR Distribution (2925 Richmond Avenue, Suite 1200, Houston, TX 77098) collects, why, and what control you have. Short version:
- We collect what the service needs to work
- We don't sell it
- You can ask us to delete it
1. What We Collect
- Account data — name, email address and a hashed password (we never store the password itself).
- Order & distribution data — the press releases you submit, packages purchased and placement reports.
- Contact & newsletter data — messages you send us and, if you opt in, your newsletter email.
- AI tool inputs — the text you paste into the free tools, processed to generate your result.
- Technical data — session cookies (login state, captcha, per-session tool limits) and standard server logs (IP, timestamp, user agent) kept for security.
2. How We Use It
- To provide distribution: publishing your release across the network is the product, so release content is shared with outlets by design.
- To operate your account, send service emails (welcome, receipts, reports) from [email protected], and answer support requests.
- To send the newsletter you subscribed to — every issue includes an unsubscribe link, and one click ends it.
- To prevent abuse (rate limits, captcha, spam filtering) and improve the service.
3. AI Processing Disclosure
Inputs to our AI tools are processed by our AI infrastructure, which includes third-party large language model providers (currently DeepSeek), solely to generate your result.
Practical advice: don't paste confidential or embargoed material into the free tools — use them with content you intend to publish.
Submitted releases under embargo are handled separately per our security practices.
4. Sharing
We never sell personal data.
We share it only with processors required to run the service, each bound to use it solely for our instructions:
- Hosting
- Email delivery
- Payment processing
- AI model providers
Plus authorities, when the law genuinely requires it.
5. Cookies

No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics cookies.
6. Retention
- Account data: while your account exists, then deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
- Published releases: they're news — they remain published unless removal is requested and feasible across the network.
- AI tool inputs: not stored by us beyond the session needed to generate your result.
- Server logs: rotated within 90 days.
7. Security
In short:
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt
- Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS)
- Sessions use HttpOnly and SameSite cookies with ID regeneration at login

8. Your Rights
Email [email protected] to do any of the following with your personal data:
- Access it
- Correct it
- Export it
- Delete it
We answer within 30 days, usually much faster — support runs 7 days a week.
9. Children
The service is not directed at anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
Material changes to this policy are announced by email or site notice before they take effect.
